Advanced sensor systems
Datalogic, global technological leader in the sectors of automatic data acquisition and industrial automation, and Datasensing, specialised in sensors, safety and machine vision, presented in a single stand a complete range of products capable of satisfying any type of application relating to automatic data collection and management, real-time tracing, intelligent automation and safety during production.
- Standing out among Datalogic’s main new developments is the Matrix™ 220 with new functionalities for reading DPM codes; it’s particularly suitable for industrial contexts like that of automotive components, in which the barcodes are marked directly on the components (DPM) in order to enable traceability along the entire product lifecycle. The BLADE™ series of compact industrial 1D readers, the evolution of the DS2X00 bestselling series is also of great interest. Fully backward compatible with pre-existing installations, thanks to the use of a powerful integrated image processor, this new series makes it possible to achieve high reading rates, also with damaged, discoloured or low-quality labels.
- Datasensing, on the other hand, presented a new version of Smart-VS+, the intuitive vision sensor which, with the simple acquisition of images, makes it possible to apply countless quality controls in an industrial context in a simple and immediate way. A very interesting area for Datasensing is flexible automation, achieved with mobile vehicles such as AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicles) and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), as well as a brand-new series of SH4 safety light curtains and the S3N range of high-performance miniature photoelectric sensors for detecting transparent objects and reading marks.
