Wireless as a green option

In SMC sustainability is a business approach

SMC, the leading operator in automation in Italy, puts sustainability in the centre of its design and production strategy. The completion of the wireless range, still insufficiently widespread in Italy, features among new developments.

Specifically, in SPS we have promoted a solution with wireless connection which, although launched some time ago, has seen a recent expansion of the range.

Wireless connection, not very common in the Italian market where wiring is still very popular, is instead now widely used and appreciated throughout the world. This is particularly so in markets where electronics is more widespread. Wireless is, in fact, considered beneficial also in sustainability terms, given the reduction of raw materials such as copper and plastic in the wiring and the general efficiency in the use of spaces».
