Ailog conference 2014 - June 24th, Milan
The upcoming Ailog conference “Diversify, Enhance, Protect: Sustainability in the Supply Chain” will be held by morning at Milan’s Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
During the encounter, Ailog (Italian Logistics and Supply Chain Management Association), Adaci (Italian Aquisitions and Supply Management Association) and Altis (High Business and Enterprise School at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore) present the results of joint research aimed at analyzing the commitment of the companies operating in Italy in the sustainable management of the supply chain. The event is characterized by a special and distinctive feature: the survey sought to highlight how companies integrate social and environmental values into their purchasing processes and logistics management, and focused attention on the actions taken in practice (and the tools used) rather than on stated policies.
This approach has generated a lot of interest, confirmed by the large participation in the project: more than 300 companies have voluntarily responded to the questionnaire, due to the availability of acquisitions, logistics and supply chain managers. Participation is free upon registration.
