A lubricant for food contact

PurolTM is produced by Rocol®, an ISO 21469:2006 certified concern that proposed the solution at Cibus Tec as the first NSF-H1 3H certified food lubricant, capable of guaranteeing maximum safety and savings thanks to a level of efficiency that drastically reduces machine stops.

Developed in order to meet the increasingly strict parameters of audits in the food sector, Purol is a high performance oil, also capable of acting as a separation agent, which can be used on all parts of the machine in direct contact with food (blades, guides, bearings and components of food processors, mixers, slicers…).
This product is presented as a valid alternative to vegetable and colza oils, capable of resolving any lubrication quandary. It features an ample functional temperature range (from -10 °C to +110 °C) and is available in 370 g cartridges or a 4 kg jar, for easy and targeted manual application or with the help of guns or pumps.

At Parma, Tocol also announced another product safety guarantee in the Foodlube® range: following the popularity of the concern’s launch of NSF registered Foodlube Rocol aerosols, the metal detector sensitive Detex caps and actuators have also been added to the other lubricant cartridges, thus further reducing the risk of contamination by foreign bodies and, at the same time, offering the user another tool for meeting HACCP standards. The innovative quality of Detex products has recently been recognized with the 2014 Food Processing Award.
