Watchword: food & beverage
A double debut, that of PRL Tecnosoft and Bellini & Meda at CibusTec - Foodpack: both companies attending the Parma show for the first time, proposing an integrated range of innovative and high performance solutions for processing, handling and packaging food products: both fresh as well as convenience produce, from baked goods to coffee, pasta, milk and dairy products.
PRL Tecnosoft, , as an authorized system builder, had the honor of introducing the latest creation by FlexLink®, the WLX, a wide conveyor belt for wet and dry processes, onto the Italian market. Its versatility allows its use for packaged meat, and dairy products, but also for bread and flour, and the system ensures reliable, long-life operation, suitable for any area of application (from primary packaging to end-of-line). Another key feature is the machine’s hygienic construction: sharp edges, flat surfaces, hollow bodies and crevices where pathogens and contaminant tend to lurk have in fact been completely eliminated.
Another intelligent solution enjoying a lot of success is the spiral shaped elevator, applicable to a variety of products packed either individually or in cartons or multipacks; maximizing available space is a growing demand to which this conveyor is an excellent response. Also on show at the fair, one of the solutions developed by Dutch firm Ambaflex, of which PRL Tecnosoft is a great user.
PRL Tecnosoft’s offer of handling products also includes the Ammeraal Beltech belts, for which the company is an authorized dealer as well as end user.
Bellini&Meda in turn displayed an example of stainless steel capping machine: particularly appreciated by food operators the easy disassembly of the lid stack storage holder and the gripping arm results in a very short changeover time. Furthermore, the speed variation between the conveyor belts synchronize the containers with the capper arm, making the machine self-sustaining. Integration is fully guaranteed by just one interchange signal between the upstream and downstream machines. Also on display an example of a depanner: an effective solution for extracting bakery products from their baking trays.
The product can be handled hot or cold via needles, forceps or suction cups; this type of pick-up, which involves direct contact with the product hence entails the use of food compliant, non-toxic, clean and sterilized material.
