Cama Group at Total
Cama Group will be taking part at the coming edition of Total (4-6th June, Birmingham, UK, Hall 5 Stand B20) with the most recent new features of its Robotics Section and the new range of integrated packaging solutions, devised to respond to the demands of the food and non-food markets.
In particular Cama highlights its new robotised cartoning machine, that features for its extremely compact innovatory loads system , with a low bulk and completely servomotorized. The line on show at the fair packs biscuits in flowpack with a high flexibility of management of the different product formats. The pre-glued cartons are formed at a speed of 90 packs a minute and subsequently transferred to a porter conveyor, that positions them in the loading area. Here the first bi-axial robot picks up the products and loads them in the cartons. A second robot then completes the closure of the boxes.
Cama has engineered this new model of “robotized cartoner” thanks to its in-depth company knowhow of packaging machines and robotised system, that enables them to develop ever new market oriented products.
What is more, a Delta “Triaflex” robotic system will be on display at the Cama stand: the Triaflex Cama robot is guided by an artificial vision system, that recognises the incoming products per type. Subsequently these are sent out to the various robots to be then loaded into an SPS flowpack machine.
