Compact industrial cameras

Image S (Mariano Comense) presents GO-5000M-PMCL and GO-5000C-PMCL: the first models of the new GO range of compact, fast and versatile, industrial cameras developed by JAI.

These cameras are suitable for a wide range of machine vision applications and, because of their compact size and light weight, are particularly suitable in the case of continuous movements of the camera, robot systems, self-guided vehicles or installation in tight spaces.

The new cameras use the same CMOS 5 megapixel global shutter already present in the Spark SP-5000 high-performance models, but inserted in a smaller case (29x29x41,5 mm, excluding the optical attachment) with only 46 grams weight: it is thus one of the lightest cameras currently on the market with this resolution. The models with the GE and subsequently USB3 outlets will be available from October.
Despite their size, they produce images at 5 megapixels (2560 x 2048 pixels) at up to 107 frames per second, via a two channel Power-over-Mini-Camera-Lin interface. Thanks to the combination of five-micron square pixels and versatile ROI (Region-Of-Interest) features they can be configured to meet a wide range of requirements in terms of resolution, speed and optical formats.
