Conrad’s new digital services

With the introduction of the eProcurement and marketplace business platforms, Conrad extends its range of activities as established supplier in the electronics and technical products sector, with solutions aimed at increasing operating efficiency and flexibility.

At the SPS fair, in fact, the company has focused all its communication on these new services:

«Our objective is to soon become a reference Sourcing Platform for the distribution market» Giuseppe Marino, Conrad Marketing and Product&Content Specialist pointed out. «The eProcurement service allows companies’ purchasing departments to place orders in complete autonomy thanks to a catalogue dedicated to them, taking advantage of customized conditions, managing approval levels according to their needs. At the same time, we have set up the B2B marketplace in Italy, managing in just a few months to add around 400,000 products to our catalogue which already contains over a million products».

eProcurement automates the long approval processes and digitalises the exchange of information, streamlining purchase operations. It’s also possible to set up budgets, purchase regulations, approval procedures and product range restrictions. On the other hand, the B2B digital platform offers enterprises the possibility of increasing turnover and giving visibility to their products in a controlled space, generating greater awareness of the brand.

The other new developments presented by Conrad in the fair related to the Voltcraft brand, which includes in the range the VC-891 digital multimeter awarded in 2023 with the Red Dot Design Award.
