With a print resolution up to 4800 dpi, thanks to PTPrint™ 8.0 software, and a print speed of 5 meters per minute, the system offers professional full-color print quality and high-speed production.

The CX1000e prints onto many different laser-qualified label materials, including matt-, semi-gloss-, glossy self-adhesive paper as well as white and clear polyesters. Numerous special papers for drinks and wine labels such as textured or needlecord varieties are available. Primera has also qualified a new selection of eco-friendly substrates made up to a 100% of recycled paper.
Printed labels are waterproof and tear-, scratch and smudge resistant. The ink is also highly UV ray resistant in order to print labels that can be used both internally and externally. The most popular formats are readily available, while custom sizes are easy to obtain though with slightly longer waiting times.

The real novelty lies in the coils of pre die-cut but untrimmed labels. This means that the process of removal of the matrix and separation of the strips takes place subsequently, thanks to a second bench system, called MX-12e. To print on pre die-cut but untrimmed label web stock is the innovation that allows the Primera CX1000e to create printed labels up to the cutting edge without the excess toner dirtying the labels nor damaging the print circuits, and also guarantees the perfect stability of the label under the fuser.

Compared to competitors the CX1000e is currently rated as the pre die-cut label printer with the highest available resolution and above all with the highest resistance to UV and weathering thanks to the technology used.
