ESA sleeves for gravure printing
Hannecard & Mitex Italy produces a range of ESA (Electrostatic Support) sleeves, developed to offer users the specific contribution of this technology added to the quality of gravure printing.
These sleeves are made using specific materials in carbon and fiberglass, which support a range of specific coatings for converting and flexible packaging applications.
Here we highlight Performa brand coatings, in black and not only, covering the needs of the three ESA sideload, top load and direct load systems. Available with a wide range of surface resistivity grades, these compounds have superior mechanical properties, long life, stable electrical values, are easy to clean and are applied in multi-layers as required by ESA system builders. Hannecard&Mitex creates its production lots at the time of ordering.
The Mitex coatings with electrostatic assistance for press rollers have been designed for applications where a specific attention to safety is demanded, especially for explosive environments: they comply with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC, designation II G T3 and control number QS 09 ATEX 2071/2070/X.
The synergical joint venture between the two groups, Hannecard & Mitex Italy, is empowered the two international sales networks and rubber and polyurethane coating technologies, giving them a position as top level operator serving flexible packaging.
