Film: for gauge control

Visionlab - established in the printing and converting industry as a supplier of innovative control technology - announces the launch of Visionlab Micro.

This new system, designed to control the thickness of film, whether printed or not, is proposed as a tool to facilitate the production and to provide immediate feedback on non-compliance.
Visionlab Micro is a typical expression of the design philosophy of the Venetian concern (Asolo, TV) and is characterized by extreme functionality and ease of use. In a nutshell, it is a system for the micrometer longitudinal control of film thickness, based on laser technology. It is usefully employed to provide an accurate analysis of the product throughout the processing cycle, as well as for the detection of non-conformity, for example, the lamination joins not normally detectable by the operator (the internal pattern in a film sandwich, and yet more).
