The latest-generation solutions supplied by TSC AUTO ID feature more powerful wireless connectivity, printhead fault detection, high levels of security and flexible remote management.

TSC Printronix Auto ID, a leading manufacturer of barcode label printing solutions, has made a major upgrade to its industrial printer and print engine technology.

The latest-generation MH241 and MX241P industrial printers, the brand new 6” MH261 thermal transfer printer series and the PEX-1001 high-speed print engines all feature a number of innovations including combination wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth® 4.2 modules, as well as an Apple-certified Bluetooth® 5 MFI option on some versions.

This ensures a secure wireless connection and ultra-fast roaming without data loss, even when switching between multiple access points.

The printhead mechanisms have also been upgraded and are now able to check and report bad dots on the printhead in real time. This allows the user to replace the faulty printhead in advance and avoid downtime and incorrect or poor quality labels.

Finally, the SOTI Connect enterprise mobility management software provides users with complete visibility of real-time data on the health and performance of entire fleets of printers.

The characteristics of TSC Auto ID’s latest generation of models demonstrate the company’s desire to lead the evolutionary process in the printing industry towards ever higher levels of performance and competitiveness.
