Ink jet direct production

Alongside the numerous exclusive representative contracts for big labeling and coding machine builders (Allen Coding, Markpoint, Alphadot, Solaris ...), the Bologna based company SIS.MA has been producing its own inkjet equipment for quite some time now.

The “DOD” Macroline and, subsequently the Compact & Flex inkjet  for high-definition printing of alphanumeric characters, logos and barcodes on porous surfaces are part of this line.
In turn, the IP54 printheads  come with shock and jolt resistant features and reach a maximum height of 107.4 mm print (Flex764). The 128 and 382 versions  16.8 and 53.7 mm respectively.
The central processing unit (IP54) features a Windows-based control unit in stainless steel with 12” color LCD TFT display, graphic software and clock-calendar with backup battery. As well as the provision for 4 printheads the machines have  Ethernet, USB, serial and VGA connections for external monitor and I/O encoder/alarms.
The capacity of the oil-based ink tank is 1.5 litres and  the machines can reach speed up to 32 m/min at 180 dpi, along with lower definition (programmable).
All versions have an exclusive ink recovery and automatic cleaning system.
