Know-how, innovation and multi-technological solutions

What way is the wind blowing in the packaging sector? What do machine manufacturers and end users want? How can we stay competitive in today's market

Living right inside this world day by day, as specialists, we are fully aware of the specific challenges of automation in relation to the process, packaging, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

That's why we've gradually become convinced that the key aspect is to transform market needs into concrete products and solutions. Our recipe for success for groundbreaking but cost-effective automation is based on ideas that go hand in hand with the customer's requirements. We then add services, know-how and innovation to produce multi-technology solutions that combine motors, electric drives, controls, components and linear assembly systems, pneumatic components and hydraulic power systems….and all from one single source.

Did you know that?...We've chosen this column as a way of letting you know our point of view over the coming months. We'll be revealing a few curious facts and informing you about the opportunities provided by new technologies, and how they can be combined. We're convinced that a sharing of ideas is essential if we want to go on being a strategic partner for our customers.

Today more than ever before, the topics of costs, flexibility and innovation have become a part of our daily lives. Choosing one solution or technology over another is sometimes a very “costly” decision in more ways than one. In addition, techniques and technologies in the packaging sector are undergoing a constant transformation; this means our customers have to be sure that the solutions offered are really competitive, not only today but also - and above all - in the future.

The column "Did you know that?" is an excellent opportunity for us to create a bridge between your needs and our know-how, without ever forgetting the concept of “added value”. Our task lies in identifying the short and medium term requirements, in order to offer the best solution and the right combination of technologies.

Our stand at Ipack-Ima will be manned by experts who'll be pleased to show you some examples of the tailor-made solutions to meet the wide range of requests that mark this extremely lively and competitive sector. Amongst the innovations on display, there's the new version of the Indramotion for Packaging automation platform, now even more powerful and innovative, developed on the new Co.De.Sys 3 framework.
There'll also be a presentation of some new products purposely designed for the food industry and complying with the strictest international standards and regulations (FDA specifications); in particular, we'll be demonstrating the NRFG recirculating ball slide guides and the new NCT-PK contact-free gripping systems.

One of the highlights will be a practical demonstration to get "hands-on" experience of the preventive diagnostics concept, in particular the new vibration damping function. And don't forget the new version of the Indradrive Mi - the motor with integrated drive from Rexroth - guaranteeing fast engineering and the production of safe modular machines; now with the addition of an STO disconnection (drive lock) function directly on the drive, to create safe areas. We're sure that our ability to constantly offer skills, professionalism and innovative solutions is the best recipe for success, even in these economically difficult times.
