A partner for the bakery sector
HITECH Flowpacking of bakery products: ACMAVOLPAK has dedicated a whole line of machines to this sector, integrated with distribution systems capable of managing different types of packs on several lines.
On the morrow of the process that saw the merger of two historic brands of the Coesia group, ACMAVOLPAK exploits synergies and competences in the design of machines for packaging FMCGs and stakes its place on a global scale as a competent and reliable partner for companies that need flowpacking lines for bakery products such as snacks, crackers and wafers. The knowhow built up by the Bologna based concern in decades of activity in fact today allows them to field a complete porfolio of technologically cutting edge machines, capable of best integrating with new or pre-existing production lines for packaging loose, side-lying or stacked product in single wrap or multipack formats.
Specifically developed on the basis of Acma’s technology, its offer features three different models of flowpacker - the SP, SP1 and SP2 - designed following the four key principles of performance, simplicity, flexibility and sustainability. An offer, that provided by Acma, that does not stop at the machines but includes the supply of product distribution and alignment and machine feed systems on one or more lines.
Distribution and feed systems. The modular distribution systems designed by Acma enable the optimum handling of incoming products set out in ordered rows direct from the processing line. Acma has also developed automatic application for one or more packaging lines: for example, to divide a line of biscuit or crackers to feed a first machine for stack wrapping and a second one for “slug” packaging. The product is subsequently transferred to the feed system via horizontal or vertical chargers.
The machine feed systems are run by independent brushless motors and guarantee a particularly delicate handling of the products. At the same time, thanks to the cantilevered construction, easy access to the various components is ensured, thus simplifying use and cleaning.
The machine and the users. The Acma SP series flowpackers carry out medium to high speed packaging of single or multipack product, with hot or cold sealing. The transversal rotary unit can also be provided in the “long-dwell” version, featuring a transversal movement during sealing, this also enables the high speed processing of materials that are particularly sturdy, where maximum airtightness of the pack needs to be ensured.
The wrapping film unwinding system comes with an automatic splicing unit that enables the rapid replacement of the reel without machine stops. For the top of the range version (the SP2, that works at 120 m/min) Acma has patented a device for the pneumatic tensioning of the film, that at the same time guarantees max. performance and interruption of the unwind operations in absence of product.
Acma solutions are installed worldwide, chosen by important bakery sector producers. Their customers include concerns like the Asian multinational European Food, P.T. Khone Guan and Australia’s Eat Well and Mac’s Shortbread, that also appreciate the technical assistance service, personalised according to demands, and the staff training during the system installation.
ACMAVOLPAK: the core competencies Acma (Coesia group) supplies complete lines that cover the entire process of packaging and bottling, designing and marketing machines for primary and secondary packaging. In 2012 the company merged with Volpak, also part of the Coesia group and leader in the production and marketing of horizontal and vertical machines for flexible (pouch) packaging. Acma and Volpak work synergically to offer the market innovative and customised global solutions. ACMAVOLPAK’s activities extend over five core competencies covering five product sectors: FB (Food & Beverage), PC (Personal Care), HC (Home Care), C (Chemical) and P (Pharma). |
