Quality coding made in Italy

Eidos, Piedmontese designer and manufacturer of printers for industrial coding, will be at Cibus Tec 2014 (Hall 3 G008) as a partner of concerns that seek flexible, quality solutions for product and end-of-line marking.

Visitors to the show will be able to view the large families of machines in live demo and illustrated by technicians present at the stand. These are solutions suited to every form of industrial environment, not hampered by dust or  humidity and can be supplied with a 100% stainless steel casing to ensure max hygiene also in food environments.

For direct printing on film, the Swing series is made up of specific models for all types of continuous or intermittent packaging machines. Swing 2ie is appreciated for its sturdiness, Swing 2ce for its high throughput (up to 350 prints/min), and the Swing series X for large areas comprises multilane and multigauge machines (they print up to 520x128 mm) ideal for heatformers and capping machines, that overcome all the problems associated with mechanically conceived coders.

For labeling Eidos offers print&apply Printess, with the recent addition of Printess 8 for A4 format labels. Printess uses interchangeable applicators and is hence capable of labeling any product with any type of label.

At the stand too the digital Coditherm printer for direct coding on objects. One of a kind, it uses a patented thermal printing method and can be equipped with transfer mechanism with infrared heating; it is recommended for a host  products, even with curved or irregular surfaces, including the new wine stoppers. Easy to use (to change color you only need to change ribbon, gold and silver included), it is totally electronic and hence also ideal for small lots or samples.
