Slitter rewinders: an evolution

Bimec (Vanzaghello, MI) is an Italian company that has been operating for over 36 years in the design and manufacture of slitter rewinders.

At its ICE Europe stand the company has presented the updated version of its TCA/64-C machine, that consists in the evolution of a model consolidated over the years and very popular with the market. The slitter comes in a compact version with shaftless winding gear, built for jumbo rolls of up to 1000 mm in diameter, as well as for the wrapping of finished rolls up to a maximum of 600 mm in diameter. The machine on display was equipped with all the accessories that enable the reduction of downtime: automatic positioning of the counter-blades, removal and expulsion of the finished rolls, automatic tension control.
