SUPER-Tecnopolymer for super components
Over these last years, the result of applied research in the automobile field and intensive laboratory work, new high resistance tecnopolymers have emerged, called “SUPER-Tecnopolymers”, used also to replace metal.
Exploiting the properties of these material, that have a high proportion of glass fibres and special characteristics of the polyammide base, Elesa is able to offer the market components with an exceptional mechanical resistance, similar to metal.
Elesa’s components made in SUPER-Tecnopolymers hence combine the typical advantages of plastics and the classic strengths of steel, in particular stainless steel, or that is: total corrosion resistance, lightness, a low friction rate, no maintenance, non magnetic, electrically insulated, color added directly to the pressmoulded material.
Of this new range we highlight:
• the CFM, CFSQ and CFSW hinges with integrated single or multiple safety switches, that constitute a safety device to be used on the more common aluminium sections used for protection, as well as on CFV hinges with position stops and CFMY for removable hatches;
• the PMT lever indexing plungers with threaded body and stop nut in SUPER-Tecnopolymer;
• the LAC-R, that also enables the regulation of the force applied to the lever as well as orientation of lever in the desired position;
• the HCZ-P column level indicators, with protection reinforcements in SUPER-Tecnopolymer.
