Zip: an automation patent

Slider Pack Srl will be presenting, at K Düsseldorf, a new patented tool for the automatic insertion of the cursor on PE, PVC and PP zips in different sizes. The system, developed by the Milanese concern (headquartered in Cerchiate di Pero), handles plastic sliders of various kinds: SP, SPZ, SC, SF, SFC.

Small machine, great idea. It is called R-SPZ and is the new technologically and mechanically updated version of the system Slider Pak has developed to automate a task traditionally done by hand. A very versatile piece of equipment that enables the automatic insertion of the slider on each type of zip applied to reclosable bags for widely differing sectors of use. Its drastically reduced size enables its positioning in line on any type of sealing machine, without the need for a dedicated interface (it operates as a stand-alone); in addition, the new model has an increased speed - it reaches 80 sliders per minute - increasing productivity and relative economic advantages.

Among the main technical characteristics we highlight the latest generation software technology, the extreme accuracy of the device (there can be no possibility of error in processing), the fact it requires no maintenance and is immediately operational the moment it is installed: to operate the R-SPZ only requires compressed air and a 220V power supply.
 
Enhanced design. R-SPZ is the result of Slider Pack growing commitment to innovation. The company has recently expanded its organization, setting up a design department managed by specialized technicians with many years of experience. Their main activities involve electrical and electronic design, industrial automation and the implementation of integrated systems for industrial plants  the study, development and implementation of customised electronic analogic, digital and microprocessor control cards, research and development of new technologies for quality control, electrical safety and electromedical and ecological devices; conformity to machine safety on both new and existing machines and preparation of applications for EC certification.
 
Slider Pack specializes in bag seal technologies. The company has been on the market for over 25 years and, supported by a design activity protected by patents and recognized by the market, in 2006 it constituted the Slider Pack Srl.
