Bc Partners completes another acquisition in the confectionery sector

Following the takeover of Forno d’Asolo in 2018, Bc Partners has acquired another leading Italian confectionery group, Bindi.

Founded in Milan in 1934, Bindi specialises in pastry products and frozen desserts and serves over 25,000 customers in Italy, mainly in the hotel and catering industry. In 2019, it posted a turnover of 140 million euros, of which 60% was generated in Italy and 40% abroad, with the USA as its largest export market.

Bc Partners will support the company’s plan for further development, which is expected to bring revenue growth through ongoing international expansion, widening of the product range and the launch of new pastry products. It will also pursue external growth with the aim of further consolidating the sector through strategic acquisitions in Italy and abroad.
