Fabbri Group unveils latest solutions for the meat industry at IFFA

Fabbri Group chose the recent IFFA in Frankfurt (4-8 May 2019) as the venue for the launch of its latest new products specially developed to meet the needs of the meat industry.

Along with the new XPEED platform technologies for combined management of skin, skin-pad and MAP applications, the group also unveiled innovative packaging solutions for three key process stages.

Packaging Machines

Automac 40 meets the needs of high-volume food processing facilities in terms of usability, speed, versatility, compactness and strength. Made of stainless steel, aluminium and plastic, it is available in a double film reel version which allows for continuous production with minimal interruptions as well as the option of simultaneous packaging with two different packaging materials such as PVC and non-PVC. Automac 40 can reach a maximum speed of 40 ppm and works with all the main stretch films available on the market, although it performs best with Fabbri Group’s films in plain or printed form.

Weighing, pricing and labelling system software

The new FG Instore Software performs data management of single or centralised weighing systems and labelling systems directly at the point of sale or in packaging rooms. Initially developed to complement the range of Elixa Libra machines, it is able to manage entire systems consisting of various stations installed at a single or multiple points of sale. Thanks to its flexibility and modularity, it can easily handle all the data requirements of weighing activities such as batches with receipt details, food traceability, ingredients, nutritional values, allergens and other data. The versatile architecture on which this solution is based also allows it to interact with a wide variety of accessory platforms ranging from multimedia to apps while maintaining complete IT security. Accessibility to the centralised data of FG Instore Software becomes a valuable source of information for the various management activities.
