Metro Deutschland opens five wholesale outlets to end consumers

Since 4 April, wholesale chain Metro Deutschland has opened its five C+C stores in Wolgast, Greifswald, Wismar, Neustrelitz and Waren to end consumers.

The decision comes after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state issued a permit with immediate effect until 19 April aimed at expanding supply opportunities during the COVID-19 emergency.

Consumers will be able to choose from around 12,000 items, mainly food. Metro hopes to open all 103 of its wholesale stores in Germany to end consumers.
