Pusterla 1880 Group acquires Cavalieri & Amoretti
The company based in Venegono Inferiore (Varese) continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the luxury market with an increasingly comprehensive and tailor-made product portfolio.
Pusterla 1880 Group has signed an agreement for the acquisition of Cavalieri & Amoretti and its subsidiaries. Founding partner Gianluca Cavalieri will maintain a minority interest and collaborate with the Group on integrating the two entities, after which he will stay on as a strategic partner for future development.
Through this operation, Pusterla 1880 further expands its portfolio by integrating a unique area of expertise and production capacity in the field of secondary packaging: luxury round boxes. This acquisition fits in perfectly with the company’s market consolidation strategy by grouping together the leaders in specific areas of luxury secondary packaging under a single sales, industrial and logistics organisation, with the aim of offering its customers complex and tailor-made solutions in terms of both product and service.
The Group generates 100% of its sales in the world of luxury goods and aims to reach a turnover of €140 million in 2019 through the combination of the two entities and to strengthen its organic growth for the future thanks to:
- a unique industrial configuration capable of offering the perfect solution to every customer’s needs by drawing from the combined expertise of its specialists;
- a full range of luxury packaging (from carton boxes to multi-material caskets and of course round boxes);
- the ability to offer the best technical and supply chain solutions to help customers choose the most suitable secondary packaging and POS advertising for their needs;
- the ability to face the future more dynamically and share new challenges such as eco-sustainability and digital innovation.
«Cavalieri & Amoretti brings unique expertise in the high-end cardboard packaging segment, completing the range of products and services available to our customers,” commented Pusterla’s general manager Roberto Marini. “At an industrial level, the integration between our companies will allow us to achieve faster and more efficient growth, while the sharing of knowledge will increase our ability to offer our customers solutions that are always suited to their needs. I’d like to thank Gianluca, Rita and Massimo for entrusting Pusterla with the future of their company».
Gianluca Cavalieri commented: «I am delighted to have fulfilled our longstanding dream of becoming part of the Pusterla group, which we all consider the only true Italian and international centre of excellence in the field of luxury packaging. We believe can make an important contribution to the Pusterla Group in our area of specialisation. We have shared all future projects with Roberto, Luca and the complete staff, giving rise to a marriage of ideas that had always existed in our intentions. The entire Cavalieri & Amoretti group is excited to face the challenges of the future as part of the Pusterla Group».
