What it is. Papermorphosis^® is a technological process and its production machine to make paper stretchable according to the needs of the transformer.

Materials. The paper can be made of expensive long virgin fibers, but also obtained from recycled fibers, or grass, bagasse etc.

Product destination or market. The machine can be retrofitted in an existing paper machine or, the latest innovation, exists also as an off-machine version to be installed directly at the converter, to transform its papers into stretchable and deformable papers for various new applications: single use, sacks, shopping bags, material for wrapping pallets, medicine blisters, medical products for incontinence, etc.

Design and / or communication. It is a sign of a choice of sustainability and farsightedness by producers of the most varied articles using 100% paper instead of materials obtained from non-renewable sources.

Technology. The process is purely mechanical, protected by 14 international patents. An exclusive license has been given to the American paper multinational Domtar for the territories of Canada, USA and Mexico. The pilot plant in Italy is available for customer trials.

Sustainability. It aims to replace materials obtained from non-renewable sources with 100% paper with new characteristics, therefore: sustainability, recycling, ease of proper disposal, energy saving, excellent industrial runnability, less pollution. The goal of Gruppo x di x Gruppo: “with the poorest fiber in the world, obtain the least ugly paper in the world”.
