Mold-Tech Packaging performs high-quality label printing

Mold-Tek Packaging, one of India’s largest packaging and label manufacturers, has taken a major step forward thanks to the use of two Domino-branded K600i UV inkjet digital printers, which were installed in March 2021 and adopted on its flexo presses.

The K600i monochrome printer is versatile and efficient and can print at speeds of up to 200 m/minute. It can also be used for high opacity digital white printing, providing a cost-effective alternative to the more expensive and time-consuming traditional screen printing.

Digital embellishments are made possible through spot varnishing via its UV67CL ink. The K600i is also compatible with LED and UV-curable, aqueous pigmented inks and with the proprietary food packaging compliant UV97BK ink.

The K600i is based on Domino’s proven and reliable Generation 6 inkjet technology, of which there are approaching 1000 global installations.
