Automatic systems for pasta and grain-based food packaging, horizontal and vertical cartoners as well as brand new robotic proposals: the solutions of the Altopack Group at Ipack-Ima show that the future is already here.

The Altopack Group, world leader in the design of pasta packaging machines, will take part in the 2022 edition of Ipack-Ima presenting the state of the art of its production dedicated to cartoning and cardboard packaging. The fair will also be an opportunity to present the world premiere of Cyborg Line, the new and unprecedented company dedicated to the development of advanced robotic solutions with applications in the packaging sector: recently entered into the orbit of the group, it will flank and strengthen the market already covered by Altopack and Gammapack.

When innovation comes from experience

The Altopack Group is made up of Altopack itself (a company with over twenty years of experience in pasta packaging), Gammapack (a historical manufacturer of cartoning machines) and the innovative startup Cyborg Line.

But let's go in order. Altopack invents, designs and manufactures automatic systems for food packaging, with specific expertise in the pasta and grain-based food sectors, where the company enjoys an established worldwide reputation with all the major brands.

Gammapack, in turn, operates in the food packaging sector and is specialized in the production of horizontal and vertical cartoners.

The latest addition to the Altopack group is Cyborg Line, positioned on the cutting edge of industrial automation and active in the field of collaborative robotics applied to the packaging sector.

Thanks to this inclusion, and faithful to the innovative spirit that distinguishes it, Altopack proposes to transform the concept of automatic machines by introducing humanoid robots into packaging and wrapping lines: an enabling technology for intelligent, autonomous and interconnected production systems that are decidedly avant-garde.

Acting today, thinking tomorrow

This is the first time that Altopack has participated in such a structured and complete way in an event of international importance such as Ipack-Ima, and it has done so with a rich and articulated proposal, dedicated to the sectors it has always presided over but which can also be declined in different product contexts.

At Ipack-Ima 2022 Altopack will therefore present the strength of a Group with transversal skills, able to offer a heterogeneous and scalable range of products for packaging, but not only. The company intends to offer the entire sector a window on what it believes will be the horizons of innovation, driven in the coming years by exponential technologies such as robotics and the internet of machines.
