Pharmaceutical gel in stickpacks and boxed in die-cut flat packs
Universal Pack at interpack l Hall 16 - B54
Universal Pack is proud to present a new complete line for the packaging of pharmaceutical gel in stickpacks with important new technical developments, including the possibility of printing the film directly in-line using a digital printer. The solution also involves two robots for transferring the sachets, a carton-forming machine, a closing machine and an end-of-line device for printing and data verification.
Alongside these plus points, the Universal Pack solution offers a series of distinctive functions. First of all, speed and flexibility that remain unchanged despite the reel printing taking place in real time. The buffering system also drastically reduces bag waste by ensuring that only those bags that are actually out of weight are discarded, while the solution provides feedback on the individual rows of the dosing unit. With preventive maintenance, it is possible to reduce downtime and generally keep components at peak performance, while real-time diagnostics ensure productivity, efficiency and production quality with alarms and alerts in the event of malfunctions.
Lastly, when it comes to sustainability, green materials such as recycled, recyclable, compostable and bio-based films can be used, while the low-consumption motor enables minimisation of CO2 emissions.
