AMB: growth and certified quality

One year on from the opening of the new plant in Amaro (UD), AMB Spa confirms its steady growth trend and, in 2018, is preparing to exceed 110 million turnover, with over 61 thousand tons of products sold, and a more marked attention to Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom, Spain and France.

The historic Friulian company - an international benchmark for the production of multilayer plastic films intended primarily for food packaging - combines excellent performance with a series of excellent elements of its production sites, that have gained BRC and ISO9001: 2015 certifications.
Recently it has also completed the process of ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems, maintained and updated at the last revision of 2015 for the San Daniele settlement and extended to the Amaro plant.
Lastly, we recall AMB’s commitment to sustainable production, endorsed by the important projects of the last three years that, after the experimental phase, are now an industrial reality: we refer in particular to the revolutionary process with which the solvents are eliminated in printing on food films, of which the company was a pioneer, giving rise to a completely water-based production.
