The Factory of the Future enters the museum

A new exhibition area inside the Museum of Industrial Heritage, Bologna aims to involve teenagers and adults on the implications of Industry 4.0 by showing them the Factory of the Future.

The project is promoted by the founding companies of the Friends of the Museum Association, including Ima, together with Lamborghini, Bonfiglioli Riduttori and Philip Morris. In this regard, we recall that the Museum hosted, on May 10th, the conference “The new technologies of advanced industry”, where the topics discussed included robotics (with Mario Zen), the creation of a Research Center in Bologna (Luca Tomesani), virtual reality and Big Data (Sanzio Bassini). Experts also discussed the impact that new technologies will have on work, training and retraining human capital.
