Rugged and powerful mobile computer
Rhino II is the latest generation of vehicle mount computer, completing Datalogic’s line of mobile computers.
Tailored for warehouse management, Rhino II enhances productivity by reducing errors during reception, inventory, picking & shipping. Rugged and “armored like a rhino”, the device has the necessary computing power, flexibility and robustness for operating even in the harshest environments. A special freezer version with heated display is also available. Capacitative touchscreen models feature anti-glare 3 mm armored glass, but still enable use with gloves on. Available with high resolution 10’’ or 12’’ color display, Rhino II is equipped with internal isolated power supply, automatic power control and an optional backup battery for protection against data loss.
2017 results and goals. The Interim Report, approved by the Board of Directors of Datalogic on September 30, shows revenues of 450.7 million euros (+ 6.9%) in the first nine months of the year and a solid operating performance (EBITDA margin 17.3%). Hence the satisfaction expressed by the CEO of Datalogic Group, Valentina Volta, commenting on the company’s results was justified.
Positive too the effects of the new customer centric organization, after the recent creation of the Retail, Transportation and Logistics, Manufacturing, Healthcare Industry Units, with the last two showing a double digit growth. The margins have also improved, thanks to optimized production costs and despite higher investments in R&D, that are close to 9% of revenues and that underlie the development of the group, as evidenced by the impending employment of 80 new talents, graduates or undergraduates in engineering and/or in other scientific subjects at international level.
