An tome in recycled paper
Historic grappa maker Mazzetti D’Altavilla presents its annual collection in Grappassion, a book that tells the story of Made in Italy grappa, as well as that of a family that since 1846 has been making grappa with a focus on land and innovation.
In line with the concern’s commitment to green practices, the book is printed on two different types of recycled paper supplied by Due Emme Pack: Cocoon and Stone Paper, made from stone powder. The combination of these two papers results in surprising tactile and visual sensations. Furthermore, thanks to Due Emme Pack’s Eco calculator, Mazzetti was able to measure (and share) the project’s savings on raw materials (waste products, water, electricity, wood) and CO2 emissions made possible by its decision to use recycled paper rather than virgin fiber: 2,635 kg of wood (23 trees saved), 57,410 liters of water, 1,621 kg of waste material and 223 kg of CO2.
