Foopak is ”halal”

Bio Natura Cup produced by APP (Asia Pulp & Paper Group) is a 100% biodegradable container suitable for both food and beverages, hot and cold, and that lends itself to many applications (icecream, beverage and takeaway food preservation).

Alternative to conventional polyethylene coatings, the product’s coating is completely biodegradable, ensuring an easy recycling of the pack, compostable at end of life without separation of plastic parts. The new Cup enhances the existing Foopak product line (greased paper and board, containers for confectionery and bakery products; heat-sealable-, folding and takeaway cartons). Certified according to Indonesian standard HAS 23000, the entire range is in compliance with halal dictates.
