Plastic packaging technical annex

Complying with commitments taken on at the signing of the Anci-Conai Framework Agreement for the next five years, last 30 September Anci, Conai and Corepla reached an agreement concerning the Technical Annex on Plastic Packaging.

The stipulations of the agreement are:
- confirmation of the fees paid to municipalities, calculated at a total of +10.6% over 2013, as agreed at the renewal of the Framework Agreement and already effecive since April 1 2014;
- definition and recognition of all payments of a fee calculated only on plastic packaging contained in the payments made;
- elimination of the system of thresholds for the recognition of fees;
- introduction of a new system of monitoring and control of the quality of deposits;
- elimination of the possibility of conferring directly to the selection facilities affiliated with Corepla collection of heavy multi-material as of 1 January 2017.
The new Technical Annex shall become effective as of 1 January 2015.
