Interroll: a fantastic 2014

In the first half of 2014, the Interroll Group (Sant’Antonio, CH, in Italy at Cornaredo) further consolidated its market position, raising its turnover by 9.1% in local currency (+5.3% in consolidated currency), which in such a way reaches 157.1 million CHF.

Orders, for their part, have increased by 4.5%.
The positive trend concerned all regions and all four product areas: drives and motors for conveyors, rollers, conveyors & sorters and pallets & carton flow (dynamic storage systems). Contributing factors include the evolution of the synchronous drum motor, the growing demand for Interroll’s 24 Volt technology and the ongoing process of automation.

2014 will also be remembered for certain particularly satisfying records: this year, Interroll produced its 500 millionth conveyor and, in Italy, surpassed 20 thousand drum motors installed on G. Mondini food closure systems and packaging machines. But most importantly, the concern launched a modular platform for conveyors expected to bring considerable success in the medium term. Indeed, the new product promises big advantages to users: quick design and installation, supply times cut in half, high flexibility and enhanced range, energy savings and quick return on investment (ROI).
