Benchmarks today and tomorrow
At the close of Pharmintech, Maurizio Marchesini (CEO of the Marchesini Group, a leading manufacturer of packaging lines and machinery for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics) expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved at the event and his concern’s reception.
On show were not only machines but also ideas and projects for the future (including the immediate future). «Things have changed since three years ago.
We have grown and we continue to grow, not only in terms of turnover – explains Marchesini – but also because on 15 October, a few kilometers from our headquarters in Pianoro, we will unveil in Carpi Italy’s largest thermoforming center, which will enable us to consolidate our position in the blister packing machinery sector. One of the Group’s most indispensable values is the “craftsmanship” quality of our work and our typically Italian hospitality towards visitors, be it at a fair around the corner from our base of operations or on the other side of the world».
Values and machinery. During the three days in Bologna, Marchesini communications unfolded with various important moments: the “Blisterevolution” (a campaign that began last year in order to present the new Integra 520 V line, and which will conclude a few months from now with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of the factory in Carpi) and the publication of the Code of Ethics (enshrining the values and goals of the business in line with the principles of corporate social responsibility), as well as the group’s ardent commitment to the claim “Growing Younger”, which has been its global motto for two years.
Among the machines presented at Pharmintech figured Integra 220, the original model of the Group’s robotized blister lines (predecessor of the later 320 and 520 V models) and the line for syringes (which runs at 300 units/min), made up of the FBZ 320 thermoformer and the cartoning machine BA 400 Argento.
Stand-alone solutions at the fair included the RSF 03 for filling phials (of the line developed by Corima), the RL F200 automatic labeler by Neri, for application of self-adhesive labels on phials and syringes, the Mill 120 filling/closing machine, and the RE 202 and the BL A 420, two compact and versatile machines for labeling and tracking boxes.
