K 2016
19-26 October 2016, Düsseldorf
With some 3,000 exhibitors from all continents taking up the entire 19 halls of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, “K” is the leading plastics and rubber industry trade fair, covering the full product range dedicated to the sector. Roughly 200,000 trade visitors from all parts of the world are expected to attend the 2016 edition (scheduled Düsseldorf, October 19 to 26).
This year too, for the ninth time, the event will host the special “Plastics Shape the Future” exhibition (Hall 6), implemented by the German plastics industry under the responsibility of PlasticsEurope Deutschland and Messe Düsseldorf.
The initiative aims to draw a complete picture of the state-of-the-art and future prospects of plastics under different points of view: functional, economic, aesthetic, regarding sustainability, without neglecting pressing issues such as pollution of the seas due to waste.
Enriched with multimedia content and structured in an immediate and intuitive way, the show offers a rich info and edutainment program, reserving ample space for reports, debates and educational activities.
The traditional Youth Day (Sunday, October 23) will feature a focus of the proposals by students of all ages from a variety of educational and training experiences.
