Diageo pledges 8 million bottles of sanitiser

The spirits giant Diageo has pledged to supply over 8 million bottles of hand sanitiser by donating 2 million litres of alcohol to manufacturing partners.

The product will be sent to frontline healthcare professionals in the UK, Ireland, Italy, the USA, Brazil, Kenya, India and Australia in what Diageo describes as a response to an unprecedented global emergency.
