Tassoni invests more than €2 million to remain Italian-owned
Cedral Tassoni, the historic Italian company based in Salò, has announced that it will invest more than €2 million to complete expansion and renovation work on the factory where it produces soft drinks (including the famous Cedrata), liqueurs and syrups.
This ambitious project will be concluded in early 2020 and reflects the company’s intention to remain entirely Italian-owned after being run by the same family for four generations.
In addition to industrial revamping of the existing plants, a second production line will be installed in the next few months, resulting in a 20% increase in daily soft drink production.
A first step towards growth was made in the two-year period 2017-2018, when the company allocated around €1 million to renovate the entire production process, installing highly automated lines for interconnected management of the quality control and packaging stages.
