Coca-Cola HBC Italia inaugurates new line in Nogara
On 7 September, Coca-Cola HBC Italia inaugurated the new aseptic production line for bottling non-carbonated beverages at its plant in Nogara (Verona).
The €30 million project confirms the importance of the Italian market for the Atlanta-based group, which “will continue to invest in the country” promised Zoran Bogdanovic, CEO of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company.
The technologically advanced plant will be used for the production of ready-to-drink teas and isotonic and vegetable drinks and is part of the company’s national industrial investment programme, which has seen a total expenditure of more than €220 million in the last ten years (including €44 million in 2019) at the four Italian production sites (Nogara, Marcianise, Oricola and Fonti del Vulture).
The plants are run exclusively on energy from renewable sources and produce drinks in 100% recyclable plastic glass and aluminium packaging.
