At Grafitalia-Converflex QuadTech presented its Color Quality Solution for color measurement and inspection, based on the sharing of data in a common format, with companies top in the technology; in particular, it uses QuadTech SpectralCam™ spectral data generated in-line, ink formulation data supplied by X-Rite and ink application data provided by leading producers.

The system incorporates a SpectralCam HD and performs continuous on-line monitoring of all packaging materials in rolls (also transparent, translucent and reflective) with a patent pending web stabilizer technology developed by QuadTech. It examines the entire substrate during printing, laminating and rewinding, speedily and accurately calculating the L*a*b*, ΔE values and ΔDensity at maximum press speed while correcting the colorimetric and density drifts and deviations. The high resolution display (optional) of the dot structure allows any problems to be shown up without interrupting production.
