The next level for UHT milk

With the development of the HDPE B5260ULS (Ultra Long Shelf-life), Sabic offers a new material for the production of bottles for milk, other dairy products and juices.

Its application par excellence, bottles for sterilized UHT milk, produced on high speed extrusion blowing lines.
Made through a patented polymerization process, Sabic® HDPE B5260ULS features a fluidity (MFR 2.16 kg) of 2 g/10min, with a wide distribution of molecular weights, ideal during the extrusion and blowing phases for both multi-layer and single-layer bottles.
The material features a high level of purity and all the characteristics adapted to support exceptional heat and mechanical stress, starting with the combination of rigidity, impact resistance and stress cracking resistance. It can be colored directly on the blowing line or, with a masterbatch, in the installations for this purpose.
