Packaging short pasta at high speeds

Stiavelli - historic brand and packaging division of Pavan Group - has enriched its high speed pasta packaging systemwith the new 20-head multihead weigher and introduced on the SVMC continuous packaging machine an automatic reel change system using double sided tape.

This system enables the production of 130-140 pillow packs per minute (example: 500 g short pasta).
The system is formed by a multi-head weigher (mod. SPC20), specifically devised for dry granular products fully motorized and with centrally powered conveyor, motorised layer control cone with double-layer motorized shutter and run by two independent brushless motors. The weigher electronics are completely onboard the machine and separated from that of the packaging machine, the operator panel, which allows the user an easy and quick use of the same, can be integrated with that of the packaging machine or stand separately. The continuous packaging machine (mod. SVMC) has been further optimized to allow the introduction of the automatic reel change system, the ability to perform longitudinal and transverse ultrasonic welding as an alternative to traditional techniques. This continuous packaging machine is highly reliable and for Stiavelli represents a key factor in the general range of machines on the market.
