SPS/IPC/DRIVES ITALIA

Bolstered by the success of last year, the second SPS/IPC/DRIVES ITALY by Messe Frankfurt Italia with Anie’s support, has already established itself as the leading Italian trade fair of the automation sector: exhibition space is up 20% and relies on the presence of major players in the sector, namely industrial automation suppliers and manufacturers.

A complete range of products will be on show: drives, electromechanical components and peripheral devices, sensors, control technology, IPC and industrial PCs, software, electromechanical and digital devices, low voltage switching devices, devices for man-machine interface ...
Over and beyond the technological aspects, SPS offers itself as a sustainable trade show: attentive to trends in the industry that it represents, it wants to be a “solution to users” event. In this regard, we briefly recall the special projects fielded.

Linking university - Also in this second edition SPS/IPC/DRIVES Italia will be dedicating an exhibition area to the Universities and technical institutes engaged in research in industrial automation so that projects, programs and products offered by the different faculties can be placed on show: a platform for encounters and getting to know one another that could lead both representatives of the University and industry to the same table. For further details please see the article published in the January-February issue of ItaliaImballaggio page 96.

System Integrator on demand - This is an area devoted entirely to the system integrator, a key figure in a market as complex and dynamic as that of industrial automation, and liaison between the manufacturer and end user, which will allow the visitor to touch first hand the most significant and cutting edge applications of the main industrial sectors.

CertiSearch - is the part of the exhibition devoted entirely to certification and research bodies as well as spin-offs, which play a strategic role in the development of the industrial automation market. The research institutes and spin-offs will present projects, technologies and future prospects; the certification bodies will offer a complete and updated overview of the guidelines and international standards and certification procedures governing products and machinery.

The picture is completed by the scientific meetings that will discuss current issues and scientific relevance.
In a nutshell we here reiterate the dates and themes: May 22nd, Automation in safety - Safety and Security, May 23rd, Efficiency in the company, from design to business intelligence; May 24th, Network communication, the network interface and control instruments for the industry.
