Polyester for food contact

Ensinger GmbH, represented in Italy by its branch in Busto Garolfo (MI), supplies high performance plastic materials (extruded and cast, semi-processed and finished pieces) destined for a wide range of applications and capable of resisting mechanical stress, aggressive chemicals and sterilization processes when needed.

The concern has recently unveiled Tecapet, a polyester featuring superior workability, no internal tension and high dimensional stability and wear resistance. Its bright white color makes it particularly suitable and appreciated in applications involving contact with food products. Also in the food area, the German concern proposes various families of plastics including Tecaform AH (characterized by a low friction coefficient, suitable for dynamic applications) and Tecapeek (able to operate at +250 °C, making it a valid alternative to stainless steel).
