New leadership, new technologies
After the resignation for reasons of age of Helge Hansen, Christoph Müller has been appointed the new president of Koenig & Bauer AG.
Thus one has the renewal of the board of directors of the largest German supplier of printing machines, on which the chief financial officer and vice president Axel Kaufmann and CEO Joachim Nitschke also sit. The latter will continue as part of the Board of KBA Italia, together with the Director General Gian Carlo Banfi.
In 2011, despite general market difficulties, in Italy KBA installed 165 new and used printing units, of which at least 40% in the 100x140 or 120x160 format. Good too the expectations for the year underway, both due to the vitality of Italian companies as well as the predicted commercial effects of the new technologies that KBA will be launching at Drupa 2012 (Düsseldorf, 3-16th May 2012).
