Fachpack, the decision-makers fair

With its remarkable (official) figures (34,598 visitors and 1,440 exhibitors), and a Packbox Forum attended by as many as 3,635 (over 1000 more than last year), the recent Nuremberg FachPack confirms itself among the major European packaging shows.

With exhibition floorspace coverage stable (approximately 54,000 net sqm ), while - NürnbergMesse emphasizes -  the percentage of operators with the role of decision-makers has gone from 85% to 90%. The fair, which represents all packaging segments, has an international scope: 21% of visitors came from outside Germany, mainly from Austria, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland. The ranking of the visiting sectors is as follows: printing/paper/cardboard, food/beverages, service providers, plastics, chemicals, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals/cosmetics, electrical equipment and components, packaging logistics and contract packers, metalworking, automotive component suppliers and consumer goods.
