Two major update events, promoted by the Italian Institute of Packaging, will take place in Milan next December
12-13 December 2018, Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan
Workshop Directive (EU) 2018/852
On the afternoon of 12 December, the Institute organizes a workshop dedicated to Directive (EU) 2018/852, which modifies Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste, with the aim of investigating its impact on industrial realities of the packaging supply chain. Focus hence on:
• effective legislative scope of the directive;
• actions recommended to operators;
• obligations that remain on packaging at the level of essential requirements;
• communication scenarios that can be experienced in environmental assertions and company policies. An extensive space for a debate between speakers and participants will be provided.
Food contact Seminar
The twentieth edition of the classic annual event promoted by the Italian Packaging Institute is scheduled for December 13, 2018: new interactive format.
The 2018 edition of the seminar “Food contact materials and articles” - carried out in collaboration with the Italian National Institute for Health (ISS) - has been devised to provide more space for participants: the interactive formula provides a long session of question time and direct interventions, with the aim of providing operational responses, updates, guidelines and presenting future EC developments.
Maria Rosaria Milana, Roberta Feliciani, Massimo Denaro, Cinzia Gesumundo, Giorgio Padula and Veruscka Mannoni will take their turn on the speaker’s rostrum.
The complete programs of both events and information on how to register are available on the Institute’s website.
