“The” automation fair in Italy

SPS IPC Drives returns on 20th-22nd May 2014. And it does so bolstered by the success registered in the 2013 edition (the third) where all indicators showed growth: visitors +24% (18,058), exhibitors+16% (518), exhibition space +14% (40.000).

The event, organized by Messe Frankfurt Italy, hence confirms itself as landmark for the automation industry and continues to focus on a theme central to all industry, or the recovery of competitiveness of Italian exports for which automation technology and the accompanying innovation processes play a primary role.
That the setting of the event as “fair & congress” is appreciated is borne witness to by the extraordinary turnout at the round tables organized between on 21st and May 23rd in Parma. «The lead thread of the Food&Beverage, transversal to this edition, has contributed significantly to the success of the show» states Francesca Selva, Vice President Marketing and Events Messe Frankfurt Italia, who intends also renewing the experience for the coming year, choosing a new focus.
Analogous the satisfaction expressed by the president of Anie Automation Giuliano Busetto: the member companies have contributed significantly to the birth and growth of SPS IPC Drives Italy. And given the success obtained this year too, even while coming out of a difficult year, the sector reaffirms itself as vital and a driving force for the entire Italian national economy.
