Packaging and processing professionals met in Chicago on 28th and 31st October, animating the Pack Expo International trade fair: more than 1.1 million sqm at McCormick Place, 1,965 exhibitors (up by 6 and 8% compared to the 2010 edition).

Creative Beauty Paris (Itec France, Informa Group) has filed away its tenth anniversary, celebrated during the edition dated 10-12th September last, and is already preparing a new engagement bolstered by a creative management and a decidedly international positioning.

Luxe Pack (Idice) closes its 2012 edition with a +10.5%  increase in visitors from around the world, a lively assortment of proposals and points of interest, many initiatives and contacts that, in light of the times, are not to be taken for granted. … but will last 11 days instead of the 14 that up to now placed it among the “longest” shows in the world. The principle print world fair, organized by Messe Duesseldorf GmbH, thus officially communicates the dates of the coming edition in 2016, that will be held from May 31st to June 10th.

Tarsus Group  has expanded its Labels & Package Printing product portfolio with a brand new event Packprint Summit Middle East.

At its first appearance in interpack 2011, the exhibition organized by Messe Düsseldorf SAVE FOOD informed about the extent of global food loss along the food value chain. The AIBO-FCE Association, sponsored by the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio, is organising a technical-scientific conference to divulge the most recent developments in terms of food contact materials and items.

At the end of may more than 1000 exhibitors, 49% of which non French, had booked space at the international exhibition which will take place in Paris from 19th to 22nd November 2012.

Online registration to interpack 2014 will open in October to close February 28th 2013. Among the already defined theme areas, following previous success, the Innovation Parc Packaging (IPP), that last year featured the relation between packaging and quality of life.
