Innovation starts with listening to the customer

Operating since 1969, a leading producer of a completely automatic blister machine, Famar Tec is a historic company in the Bologna packaging valley, with a distinct focus on the pharmaceutical market.

Part of the Gruppo Industriale Curti since 2015, it presented a high level of innovation at interpack, to which the new CEO, Eugenio Guerrieri, refers.

«We brought the new deep TAU-40 thermoforming machine to the trade fair, specifically designed for the packaging of parenteral products in blisters, with a forming station able to reach a depth of 40 mm. Completely electronic, it’s managed by brushless motors and is extremely easy to use, thanks also to the control panel designed to achieve the highest level of ergonomics and to manage settings and adjustments automatically.

The completely automatic thermoforming machine with flat sealing - which guarantees the reliable handling of delicate and fragile products - meets the growing demand for products in vials and syringes, driven in particular by the requirement for vaccines during the Covid period. The TAU-40, entirely redesigned with respect to the previous blister machines, was presented as an expression of Famar Tech’s constant product innovation, guided by listening to the needs of customers in order to put solutions into practice that often anticipate their demands».
